In 2022, New Balance tapped on a slew of collaborators to set their touch on iconic models. From Donald Glover's RC30 to Auralee's beautifully beige 2002R, the Boston sportswear giant shows no signs of slowing down as it presents its latest tasteful union.

Teased earlier this year, LA-based artist Bryant Giles has taken the 2002R and made it his own, covering the silohuette in his playful illustrations. The model is presented in two forms - a (fully-formed) sneaker and a mule. The first pair sports a monochromatic olive green canvas upper and is decorated with small facial embroidery in black, yellow, green, and pink thread. Finally, medial New Balance logos see removable Velcro attachments, and sole units arrive in a creamy tone with icy blue bottoms.
On the other hand, the final pair is fashioned in an off-white base, adorned with similar artsy sketches, perforated tongues and a backless construction ideal for summertime play.
Looking to snag a pair? Both versions of the Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R will be dropping on July 11th via GoneHomme.com ahead of a global release on July 21st via New Balance and select retailers.
