After the Air Jordan 4 x UNION "30th Anniversary" was recently revealed in celebration of menswear boutique UNION LA's upcoming milestone, we now have a look at another upcoming style in the growing collection, this time in a "Desert Moss" colourway.
Chris Gibbs, owner of UNION LA, has long expressed his love for basketball and the Jordan brand via their previous collaborations including last year's Jordan IV "Off Noir" and "Guava Ice" models. Like the "30th Anniversary" edition, this model is also a Jordan IV, this time with a colour palette of yellowed mossy green and "Dark Iris" purple with bright Turquoise Blue detailing.
Similar to last year's Jordan IV, the shoe uses mesh panelling at the sides and translucent plastic for the midfoot "wings" either side of the shoe. As on previous UNION x Jordan collabs, the shoe also features branded plastic tags and a distinctive folded-down tongue, mirroring how Gibbs liked to wear them growing up.
With previous UNION collabs including brands Stussy, Off-White and Acronym, we can only wait and see what other commemorative surprises the brand might have up their sleeve for this milestone anniversary year.
