The Nike Dunk Low has undoubtedly become one of the most popular silhouettes of our generation. The low-top sneaker has seen sell-out after sell-out, receiving collaborative remakes from retailers, athletes and creatives across the globe. As new iterations continue to hit shelves weekly, Nike is taking the shoe back to its roots with the release of the Dunk Low "UCLA."
Its design nods to Peter Moore's 1985 version, arriving in a striking palette that represents the team colors of the University of California, Los Angeles. Classic color-blocking is spread across the pair, featuring panels of “Blue Jay” and “University Gold” on a smooth leather base. The latter hue sets its touch on the toe boxes, quarters, collars, tongues and laces, while "Blue Jay" dominates the contrasting panels along with Nike's iconic profile Swooshes. Finally, the design is rounded off with white midsoles stacked atop blue rubber outsoles.
The Nike Dunk Low "UCLA" drops today, August 3rd, via Nike and select retailers worldwide.
