Hot on the heels of a throwback collaboration with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Noah is switching lanes to another timeless label to work on a coat collection with Barbour, utilising their eccentric experience with colour and pattern to rejuvenate Barbour’s best model.
Anyone familiar with Noah knows they love a good bit of fabric, often explaining in detail the origin of their choices, which are always the highest of quality. Rather than Italian virgin wool or panda hair, it’s the uneven blend of 60% cotton and 40% nylon that’s being injected into the Bedale jacket, which is available in a plethora of colours, essentially covering every shade of the rainbow.
The jacket remains unchanged, as any classic should, besides minor, stitched branding above either of the front pockets, with each colourway sharing a brown corduroy collar and checkered inner lining.
The ‘odd one out’ of the collection is the camo covered Bedale, which ditches the 60/ 40 blend for a full, waxed cotton fabrication, keeping in line with the original spec sheet of the classic British icon. Alongside the coats, corduroy cargo pants, graphic tees and sweatshirts fill out the collection, with a selection of accessories to boot.
