Maison Margiela’s MM6 sub-label has been quietly making waves since 1997, it’s hard to compete against the stardom of their older sibling, but after debuting a first-time menswear collection and Salomon collaboration in their FW/22 runway show, they’ve been a hot topic in the fashion world, even hotter after announcing another release with Eastpak.

While retaining the beautiful simplicity that has remained true to Eastpak’s style for decades, MM6 looks to literally morph classic carry-alls into bags ready for the modern world, bridging the gap between everyday wearability and contemporary design.
The colourful collection sees MM6 take on the Pak’r, fusing it with their own Japanese tote bag, resulting in an easy-wearing carrier that features a handy zip pocket to the front.
Before you ask - no, this image hasn't been doctored. The liquified, Padded Pak’r, really speaks for itself.
An update on Eastpak’s crew wallet brings a zoomed-in take, upscaling the former wallet to side-bag size, ready to carry all sorts of small trinkets.
