Kendrick Lamar Shows off Martine Rose-Designed Leather Two-Piece

Although not commonly known for his fashion exploits, Kendrick Lamar has taken more of an interest in garments and kicks recently, seen through his avant garde gig outfits, recent collaboration with Converse and involvement at Louis Vuitton’s SS23 runway show just a few months back. 

(Big) stepping things up a notch, Kendrick took to instagram (another rare occasion), to show love to London-based designer Martine Rose, who besides running her own successful fashion imprint, has styled a series of ‘fits for Kung Fu Kenny for his latest “Big Steppers” tour. 

Inspired by Compton legend Eazy-E and icon TuPac, the post showcased a leather two-piece consisting of a jacket emblazoned with gothic “Oklama” print, bdsm trousers and a signature Martine Rose hoodie.

It’s likely that this partnership will never see public reception, but Kendrick fans can take pride in the fact the rapper has crossed an item off his “bucket list” in working with Martine Rose.
