thisisneverthat Launch FUTURA LABORATORIES Collab with the Iconic Artist

Building up a robust portfolio of creative collaborations, thisisneverthat have now announced a collection with FUTURA LABORATORIES - the creative studio of legendary American abstract artist, FUTURA - releasing this week.

Starting his journey in the 1970s New York City subway scene, FUTURA is a pioneering icon who shifted the paradigm of street art by introducing abstract elements to traditional text-based graffiti. Built on his free-spirited vision, FUTURA LABORATORIES continues to push boundaries through experimental projects across art, fashion, and design.

As well as clothing featuring classic Futura abstract figures, accessories include co-branded pins, a Futura signature font keychain, metal stash box and graphic sticker pack.

To celebrate the launch of the collection, thisisneverthat will host a special event at the Seongsu flagship store.

The event will include a talk session and book signing featuring artist FUTURA, Michael Dupouy of ‘All Gone’ and creative director KB Lee. Admittance to the talk session will be on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability.

ALL GONE is an annual publication that has meticulously documented the most coveted artifacts of street culture - and the broader subcultures and pop culture phenomena it has influenced - since 2006.

The thisisneverthat x FUTURA collection will be available in-store only at the Seongsu / Hongdae flagship store from Friday 24th April 11AM KST, releasing online 10am KST.

The collection will release in Japan in-store and online Friday 24th April 12pm JST.
