Earlier this evening, Kanye West debuted his Yeezy Season 9 collection at Paris Fashion Week with a show comprised of empowering speeches, holy verses and weird clothing.

Unlike any other normal fashion presentation, the “YZYSZN9” show was first teased merely days ago and instead of preparing the set, models and structure weeks, even months in advance, everything was put together up until the last minute, which (in typical Ye fashion) resulted in the programming beginning nearly two hours later than the intended start time of 17:45.
Once the show finally began, Kanye took to the floor wearing a “white lives matter” t-shirt, which featured a 90s rap tee-esque picture of the pope on the front, as he held court for five or so minutes, regaling the challenges he’s faced in the past months, before signing off with "BERNARD ARNAULT IS MY NEW DRAKE", hinting that another feud is on the horizon for the Chi-town multi-hyphenate, as he called out the head honcho of LVMH. After all, Kanye did stop buying Louis bags after Virgil passed.
The youthful Donda choir then appeared, wearing baby faced Kanye hoodies as they performed a religious rendition of the DONDA 2 track “True Love”.
As more gospel filled the speakers, models made their way onto the floor, showcasing a continuity of the oversized aesthetic that Yeezy has cultivated, although in much more conceptual designs that stay true to Kanye’s “pull-on, pull-off” ideology that will supposedly be the foundation of future fashion.

Now that Ye is without a big name partner like adidas or Gap, it seems the titular character is done with side quests and is back focused on the main mission, which is seeing the Yeezy brand thrive.
