In the next instalment of Dover Street Market London’s anniversary “Power of Twenty” series, the global retail haunt has unveiled a new collaboration with Stone Island.

Adding to the 20th anniversary run of special releases that’s already seen an exclusive Nike Vomero 5, DSM’s collab unit has fittingly traveled all the way back to Stone Island’s AW04 collection for this latest project to spotlight Stoney’s prominence in the jacket innovation game.
Designed by current C.P Company head designer and all-round technical sportswear legend Paul Harvey, Stone Island Autumn Winter 2003-2004 is host to some of the most collectible pieces from the brand’s modern era - one of which is the Compact Jacket that takes inspiration from archival military airmen styles, defined by its intricate string and loop system on the front, sides and hood.

Another key feature is the detachable inner lining that’s tied to the main body by a manual rope fastening, calling to old sailing jackets while reaffirming the functional design motive started by Massimo Osti in 1982.
The upcoming drop updates Stone Island’s 20 year old Compact Jacket design with central materials from the brand’s most recent AW24-25 collection, working with (from left to right) Panama Recycled Oxide Plated Cotton, Glass Cover-TC and the mainstay David Light-TC.

Each limited version of Stone Island’s Compact Jacket is done up in DSM’s house colour of black, with the retailer’s anniversary branding printed at the inner back side.

The capsule will be available online and in-store this Friday, November 29th via Dover Street Market London.
