Dover Street Market London celebrates 20 years of trading this year and with more goodies expected to be announced in the coming weeks as part of the “Power of Twenty” celebrations, the globally-recognised retail haunt is kicking things off with a good old fashioned Nike collab.

Going strong since 2004, Rei Kawakubo’s Dover Street Market has long acted as the go-to hub of fashion zeitgeist in London, stocking everything from Gucci to Brain Dead and never failing to impress with its various installations and activations, creating an unrivalled retail operation that has since expanded to 8 locations across the globe.

The first of DSM London’s “Power of Twenty” series will start with an on-brand take on Nike’s Vomero 5 silhouette.
In keeping with the CDG-coded monochrome motive that befalls most DSM endeavours, the Vomero 5 is outfitted in black leather and mesh uppers that are (literally) highlighted by reflective tabs painted in an “emerald green” hue.
The reflective detailing extends to the tongue and heel counter, where a special rendition of Dover Street Market’s logo has been redesigned by Rei Kawakubo in light of the special occasion, where “2004 2024” anniversary branding is applied at the tongue’s interior.

Accompanied by a special in-store installation, the Nike x DSM Vomero 5 releases exclusively via Dover Street Market online and physical locations worldwide on Thursday, November 21st.
