2020’s Levi’s x Denim Tears collection was a wildly popular release that caught everyone’s attention for all of the right reasons.

From conception to inception, Tremaine Emory went all in. His aim with the collection was simple - to be presented as a conduit for the youth to learn about the atrocities committed against black people and the cultural significance of a black man releasing a cotton denim collection with one of America’s oldest heritage brands.

Emory produced a short film that details his trip back to his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia and the resonance between the collection and his elder family members who had to live through years of prejudice and racism.

The collaboration sparked a partnership that has been delivering fire denim ever since. The latest release from the duo sees an update on the Levi's 501s, this time with a tonal wreath emblazoned across the entirety of the garment.
Also dropping is the self-explanatory ‘Peace in my pocket’ Denim.
Both jeans will arrive in various colours alongside more apparel from Denim Tears. Look for the drop on April 5th via denimtears.com.
