Last week, Corteiz made their biggest inroad yet in their mission to rule the world, by announcing a milestone collaboration with Nike, unveiled via a Batman style hologram, projected on the front of Nike’s London outpost.

The fearless leader of the west London streetwear brand, simply known as Clint, posed outside Nike’s capital flagship wearing his very own tracksuits and gloves, making a point to not divulge any of the upcoming collaborative pieces.
When the collaboration was announced, many speculated what could potentially feature in a Corteiz x Nike capsule. Could it be an “on the nose” take on Nike’s Cortez runner? Maybe a winterised version of the Air Force 1, made for roadmen (and gyal), with matching tracksuits emblazoned with Corteiz’s Alcatraz branding…

While tracksuits are still very much on the cards, we now have confirmation on the silhouette that Clint and the Corteiz team has chosen for their first, big time collaboration, settling on a quintessential British Nike Air Max shoe - the 95.
The pair was sneakily teased through the classic Bella Hadid sneaker shopping meme, showing shades of olive green across the 95’s leather uppers, with a latticed mesh covering the uppermost section, highlighted by neon yellow Corteiz branding on the heel, toecap and tongue, with colour-matched air bubbles betwixt the black sole.

The teaser also confirmed the shoe’s price tag of £169.95. Expect more pieces to be revealed over the coming weeks, with a release date not far behind.
