Continuing to transcend the confines of “just another collaboration”, Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance rages on as a singular household entity, now turning their attention to the New Balance 475.

Throughout their legendary run of palatable releases, no silhouette has benefited more from ALD’s collaborative push than the New Balance 550 and now, the NYC luxe-streetwear firm aims to apply the same levels of taste, colourway-mastery and hype to another once-discarded New Balance model.
A prime example of 80’s running shoe design, the 475 is a slightly elevated, narrow model boasting panels of suede and mesh, with specially embossed leather tabs and chain stitched “N” logos featuring as one-off additions for this release, joined by signature co-branding at the tongue.
Calling back to previous combinations exercised on models like the 997, 827 and 550, the 475 is available in shades of off white/ green plus a multi-coloured pair that displays bright red, yellow, deep navy and blue panels, set against a subtly tinted white base to evoke the retro-sporty vibes intertwined in Aimé Leon Dore & New Balance’s shared DNA.
