Aimé Leon Dore’s uniform capsules are the highlights of any seasonal collection, besides the one-off releases of knitwear, shirting and the occasional collaborative New Balance 550, it's the basics range that gets a slight tweak every six months that butters the ever stacking bread of the New York firm, and is returning for Fall/ Winter 22 with micro-fleecing and a selection of cosy down options that are all suitable companions for the winter months ahead.

Available in brown, navy, grey, yellow and black, the collection plays on a few key styles like joggers, sweatshirts/ hoodies and down jackets and gilets. Also dropping is a first for Aimé Leon Dore, a rubber pair of mules that matches the collection’s colour wheel - not forgetting the two, new deliveries of the ever popular ALD stitched Yankees hats, that will no doubt sell out upon release.
With fleecing being used on the half-zip sweatshirt and matching pants, the rest of the collection is constructed from high quality cotton, featuring an update on the Aimé Leon Dore script, presenting a gothic typeface that appears under the left pocket of the sweatpants and at the centre of the hoodies and sweatshirts. Alternative branding in the form of their ‘unisphere’ logo appears on the chest of the down outerwear options as well as the fleece section of the collection.

Finally, to the surprise of many, the mule trend has entered the Aimé Leon Dore chat, boasting a comfort-intended cork insole, hidden inside a rubber outer that evokes the sawed-off rain boot stylings of Bottega Veneta’s flash mule.
