Stüssy x Our Legacy Fuse Upcycled Workwear & Laid-Back Summer Aesthetics in Ninth Capsule Collection

Now presenting their ninth capsule collection, the joint Stüssy x Our Legacy Work Shop team returns with their latest exploration of beach-rooted, earth-conscious workwear.

Adjacent to their mainline releases, Stüssy & Our Legacy Work Shop have developed a distinct identity through consistent deliveries of flowy shirts, utilitarian outerwear, and timeless wardrobe go-to’s constructed entirely from unique, reclaimed fabrics — this time working with textured cottons, exotic linens, and the odd flash of cowhide leather.

The latest capsule is more “Stüssy” than “Our Legacy”, focusing on bold, printed and embroidered graphics that play central roles across tees, hoodies, and caps, supplemented by a concise offering of loose shirting and the returning Work Cut Jeans and short-length trouser styles.

A perfect example of Stüssy & Our Legacy’s reputations as serial archivists, the brands have modernised the Fireman Jacket using an unlined cotton/nylon cloth body featuring a leather-panelled collar and matching cuffs, still keeping the classic two-pocket construction that’s signed off with the signature Stüssy x Our Legacy Work Shop tag.

The lack of the Fireman Jacket’s traditional clasp closure is a step towards formality, contrasting against the matching waistcoat, which is modified in alignment with Stüssy & Our Legacy’s strict demand for boxy, workwear-esque cuts.

Closing out the drop, Stüssy & Our Legacy have lined up two pairs of footwear, consisting of a special edition mule reminiscent of Our Legacy’s popular in-house Camion model, plus brown leather work boots bolstered with familiar padded collars and each brand’s insignia stamped on the outer heels.

Mirroring the moody colour palette present throughout their latest outing, the brands tapped photographer Antosh Cimoszko to capture the collection in black and white across Los Angeles, fronted by legendary street skater Steve Alba.
