Vivienne Westwood has teamed up with hold-all specialists Eastpak for a collaboration that brings an otherworldly touch to the iconic brand’s classic globe.

It likely never crossed anyone’s minds until now but Vivienne Westwood’s and Eastpak’s logos share a slight resemblance with their respective globular centrepieces surrounded by some sort of ‘ring’.

Although the meaning behind the branding isn’t connected whatsoever, the aesthetic similarities have lent themselves to the collaboration we have before us now, playing into a graphic from Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/ Summer 2019 collection, when Andreas Kronthaler gave the iconic motif a planetary makeover that appears in this capsule in an all-over fashion.
A standard roundup of backpacks, duffles and side bags act as black-based canvases for the print and have been constructed from eco-friendly textiles in support of the Cool Earth initiative - a charitable organisation supported by the late Dame Vivienne Westwood, who over the years, donated a total of $1.5 million USD in an effort to combat deforestation.
