There has never been a better time for the Air Max 1. Although the silhouette's 35th anniversary has come and gone, Nike is still celebrating the special occasion with pairs remixed with unique detailing and unmatched interpretations. From the deconstructed Air Max 1 “Wabi-Sabi” to the “Blueprint” released in March, the Swoosh is now adding the Air Max 1 "Woof" to the mix.
From bandana overlays to dog bone-shaped upper eyelets, this innovative take on the Air Max 1 is a perfect fit for you and your furry friend. The upper sees trimmed fur side panels in light and dark tan hues set atop a light cream base. The mudguards feature red and pink bandana patterns while the heel overlays sport spotted detailing.
At the center, furry tongues feature multi-colored patches that see Nike Air Max branding alongside the Chinese symbol "汪" (Wang), meaning a dog's bark. Grass-printed insoles celebrate the pair's anniversary date, while a sail midsole, a vibrant green air bubble (that matches the liners and miniature Swoosh at the mudguard), and a two-toned brown outsole round out the offering.
The packaging of this pair does not come short as it includes branded dog tags, a bandana fit for your furry best friend and paisley-covered boxing.
