Loading next to the brand’s latest lookbook as ammunition for the Summer ‘25 hype machine, Palace Skateboards has shared a full preview of the individual items featured in its latest seasonal collection.

As usual, Palace has fans covered head-to-toe with an even smattering of subverted classics, loud graphics and singular sportswear, not forgetting key collabs with Vans and Cutler & Gross, while the brand’s in-house footwear line returns with a classy pair of loafers.

We’ve put together our top picks from each category featured in Palace’s upcoming collection:

Outerwear

Proving that track top season is in full effect, Palace deviates from ultra-heavy workwear or face-mask puffers and Gore-Tex shells to unleash an army of easy-going, sport-rooted outerlayers that come in a varied range of fabrics and colours.

Palace goes all-out on the colour-blocked, piped ‘n panelled design formula that lends itself seamlessly to various styles of Track Jacket, making sure not to discriminate between the hooded and the hoodless. Where branding is concerned, the Tri-Ferg logo is more than enough, and adds just the right amount of flair to the Deflecto and P-Track jackets, whereas the Rinsed and P-Knit examples take a more traditional route with subtle wordmarks and contrast piping.

This season’s Varsity Jacket comes rendered in a choice of black, blue or soft white corduroy, earning its “Palace Love” title by showing support to the five cities Palace calls home across the globe with a ‘world tour’ stack embroidered down the back. A focus on the brand’s outpost in Melrose, Los Angeles is exhibited with emphasised “LA” appliqué badges on the front and the store’s postal code featuring front and centre amongst the rear branding.

Final highlights from Palace’s expansive offering of track jackets include the Ventilate It style, which features zippable mesh panels on the arms for maximum airflow, joined by the Palais Pro Team assortment that keeps wearers feeling cool purely through the inclusion of stellar graphic-work led by the fan-favourite “Palasonic” branding variant.

Clearly derived from its fascination with vintage Avirex outwear, Palace presents the Suede Appliqué Camo Jacket as its ‘big showpiece’ of the season, dropping alongside the Chakra Rave Bomber and Mesh Trucker jackets as examples of Palace’s mission to redefine the military, workwear and Americana aesthetics.

Tops & Sweats

Taking into account Palace’s origins as a “by skaters, for skaters” entity, the tops and sweats selection has to be done right. Of course, there’s a familiar array of hooded sweats or button-up shirts that display classical forms of Palace branding, but there’s also a handful of statement pieces, such as P-Wing Knit or ‘fun-mix’ Cutty shirt.

The Wash Out 1/4 Zip Funnel Sweat and Mesher Vest show Palace’s knack for implementing interesting material choices on classic menswear patterns - echoed with a new lineup of heat-reactive Tri-Ferg crewnecks that change colour depending on the temperature.

Tapping into both American and European football cultures, alongside a standalone baseball design and a pit-crew short sleeved shirt, Palace flexes its mock-sports muscles with the 1 Truth, Palais Pro-Team, Palace Love and Gassed Up designs, with memorabilia for the onlookers covered via the Geezer/ International collared tops and Far Out jerseys.

Tees

The graphic t-shirt is a pillar of any skate brand and no single firm stays truer to its roots than Palace, who for Summer ‘25, have worked on a core set of staple designs, ranging from variations of the familiar P3 and Tri-Ferg logos, alongside expressions of Palace’s whimsical side on the Atom, Happy Palace and Duck-Off designs.

Ace Ventura features as this season’s cultural mascot, chosen by Palace as the perfect representative for the brand’s ‘controlled chaos’ approach to streetwear.

Longsleeve styles include the seasonal 1 Truth graphic, alongside the graffiti-inspired Sketchy Lone Wolf design and a re-up on the Sofar range of essential t-shirts.

Trousers & Shorts

Palace’s lower body lineup has been masterfully selected to match with various pieces throughout the collection.

Upgrading from its staple P90 jean offering with the P100 Super Baggy Jeans, Palace goes from ultra-faded stone-wash, to factory-fresh one wash indigo - each featuring the classy “Palace London” leather patch above the rear right pocket.

The only other instance of denim comes on a pair of standard shorts, which are nestled amongst technical, sporty styles, including the shiny ripstop Deflecto shorts and 3/4 length Palais Pro-Team pairs. Palace is also introducing a new range of swim shorts, available in black, green and tiger orange.

Final bottom-half highlights are covered via piped P-Knit and Far Out Joggers, plus shorts and track pants that match up with tops and jackets featured throughout Palace’s Summer ‘25 collection.

Collaborations with Cutler & Gross

Joining the accessories roundup is the first ever dabble into luxury eyewear, with a collaborative capsule courtesy of Cutler and Gross.

Inspired by skateboards in motion, the British handcrafted frame styles are aptly named after Mercury - the Roman God of Speed - as well as Victory and Jupiter.

Coming in either Black or Tortoiseshell Havana finishes, the glasses merge the classic Palace Tri Ferg design and ancient coin emblem with Cutler and Gross' iconic Oyster pin across the designs. The Jupiter pair is even detailed with solid 18k gold wing and Tri Ferg metalwork.

Headgear

Hats are an integral component in the well-oiled machine that is Palace Skateboards and after consecutive seasons rife with teddy-eared or fully-fuzzed outlandish designs, Palace is going back to what it does best by partaking in some tasteful logo-slapping on classic 5 and 6-panel makeups.

Palace continues to weave key graphic imagery throughout its latest collection, applying the 1 Truth, Bad Apple, Heaven and Hell, P-Frame, Palactic and Palais designs to a range of cranium covers, in addition to Gore-Tex versions with built-in ‘Necksavers’ and new P 6-panel styles - split between plain and clear visor versions.

The first release of the Palace Summer 2025 collection will be available from Friday 9th May at global Palace stores and DSM London, LA and Tokyo concessions, as well as online via the Palace website.
