Jordan Brand is continuing to pump out memorable Air Jordan 1 colorways and has revealed the Air Jordan 1 High "Newstalgia" as its latest creative rendition.
Holding similarities to the first-ever "Chicago" release - hence its name being a play on words between new and nostalgia - the sneaker is dressed in recognizable hues of “Varsity Red,” “Sail” and decorated with faint hits of “Light Iron Ore." This equates to a supple leather base throughout. A white hue adorns the toe boxes and medial panels, while a vibrant red wraps the mudguards, lacing systems, ankle flaps and heel counters. At eyes view, the “Light Iron Ore" tone is a light grey that outfits the collars and throats, while the latter is presented in a ribbed corduroy material.
Perhaps the most eye-catching detail of the pair is the medial "Chenille" Swooshes done up in a fuzzy carpet textile, along with matching square hang tags. Its lively design is complete with classic Air Jordan 1 midsoles and red rubber bottoms.
A set release date is still unknown. The Air Jordan 1 High “Newstalgia” is expected to drop in the coming weeks.
