Following the debut of its "Un-Cortez" collection with Nike, West Coast retailer Union Los Angeles has returned with another highly-anticipated batch of Cortez sneakers. With a release date still forthcoming, official imagery has surfaced and confirmed that two more pairs are on the way.
The second assortment is dominated by summertime hues and beachy vibes, sporting a similar design to the previous release. The more "muted" of the two is outfitted in a fossil grey suede base and features Mexican Baja hoodie-style striped canvas underlays. These are presented in a subtle pink, gold and blue palette and accompanied by recycled Crater Foam midsoles and Nike Grind outsoles.
Its sister pair is ideal for a daytime beach trip and arrives in light beige overlays, supported by a vibrant yellow, deep pink and floral purple design underneath. Key details on both pairs include double-layered heel tabs, golden "UN/LA" banners at the forefoot, lace dubraes that celebrate the pair's 1972 founding year, cork insoles and special edition boxing.
A release date for these has yet to be confirmed, but stay tuned for more information coming soon.
