Continually celebrating 20th century counter cultural icons in their collaborative efforts, this week Supreme team up with one of the true figureheads of punk itself for a capsule collection with 70s legends Public Image Ltd (or PiL for short).
This week's biggest and cosiest accessory comes in the form of a beech wood armchair referencing a contemporary classic piece of furniture, originally designed by Gerrit T. Rietveld. Associated with the De Stijl movement, the Dutch designer was known as a pioneer of modern furniture design.

The original Red Blue Chair (1918) on which this model is based was inspired by fellow Modernist Mondrian and is commemorated in the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
Emerging from a post-Sex Pistols musical landscape, ex-frontman John Lydon formed PiL in 1978 as a vehicle to mash up the established ideas of the rock, dance, folk, pop and dub genres in his own audacious and memorable way.
The Supreme x Public Image Limited collection is comprised of a Trench Coat emblazoned with the lyrics "This is what you want / This is what you get"; branded repeating logo shirt; PiL baseball Top and sweatshorts; graphic tees featuring John Lydon himself and the PiL branding plus a logo 5-Panel Hat.
These are all joined by some seriously hard-working outerwear bits including a denim jacket and jeans set with Vanson Leathers and the reversible MA-1 jacket with a branded faux fur hood.
The Supreme x Public Image Limited collection will be available online and in store alongside this week's drop this Thursday 17th November.
