After their initial, stripped-back renditions of Converse's Chuck ‘70 and One Star Low released to sell out acclaim back in June, Stüssy have shocked us again with the announcement of a follow up collaboration on the Chuck '70, this time draping the iconic sneaker in a blanket of plumeria pink, also removing the traditional branding in place of more archival Stüssy sketches.

It’s no secret that Stüssy’s preferred shoe collaborator is Nike, however their latest synergistic outing sees the Californian street brand revisit relations with the wider swoosh family for a vibrant take on Converse’s premier silhouette.
The Chuck ‘70 is just like any other pair of Converse high’s, although stripped back (as if that was even possible), to feature a tonal badge where the all-star insignia would usually lie, with a black, "Surfman" graphic stitched on the oblique that looks like it’s straight from the Shawn Stüssy sketchbook.
Carried over from their recent Nike collab, the pink colouring seen on the Air Max 2013 appears across the entirety of the Chuck 70’s upper fabrications, the final addition to the silhouette is the Stüssified “All * Stars” branding seen on the tongue.
