Stüssy has just released the second instalment of its Fall ‘24 collection, continuing to expand on a laid-back approach to contemporary streetwear, resulting in a low-key, top-heavy drop that focuses on staples, rather than statements.
Headlining this latest release is a selection of grid-baffled puffer jackets, available in hooded and hoodless variations with stitched Stüssy branding at the chest. Constructed from a water-repellent, recycled nylon outer, the jackets feature a 90/10 down-to-feather ratio, presented in royal blue, brown, lime and black palettes.
Next up is a series of sweats that feature collegiate branding over zip hoodies and straight-hemmed sweatpants, finished with a pre-faded wash to give the pieces that vintage look and feel.
Stüssy also unveils a renewed knitwear offering, comprised of faded cotton crewnecks, half-zip styles with vintage-inspired chest pockets, chunky knit zip hoodies made from an alpaca/ wool blend, alongside a healthy selection of new beanie styles.

UPDATE - 16/08/2024:

The first delivery from Stüssy’s Fall ‘24 collection has just gone live on the brand’s website and capitalising on the hype generated from its latest, masterful lookbook, Stüssy has dropped a healthy selection of pieces to see tribe members through the transitional months.
Technical outerwear comes to fruition on seasonal, semi-transparent ripstop iterations of the Beach Shell Jacket, where Stüssy’s workwear roots are explored on Heavy Washed Plaid overshirts and Needle Punch versions of the cropped, boxy work jacket, available in khaki and black, finished with blacked-out ‘Work Gear’ badges.
No matter how sophisticated Stüssy‘s interpretation of streetwear has become, the brand always has time for some stand-out graphic staples and this latest drop brings about numerous styles, including the Buana graphic and Milk tee, where archival motifs cameo on the linen-blend Surfman crewneck and various other sweatshirts and hoodies.
Stüssy continues to build on recent collections with an updated leather two piece, comprised of a traditional Cafe Racer jacket and matching Big Ol‘ shorts, rendered in clean black and lime green palettes.
The accessories aisle is filled with home and wearable wears alike, spanning leather biker gloves, loud belt styles with Western influence, gilt ashtrays, refreshed luggage options and an updated array of headgear.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE - 14/08/2024:

Stüssy has just unveiled its Fall ‘24 lookbook and to say “casual” is the motive would be a gross understatement.
Setting the dress code for the coming months, Stüssy’s latest campaign is an exercise in meticulously effortless styling. We’re talking shirts with knits, form-fitting leather jackets paired with voluminous bottoms, utilitarian workwear and tasteful graphic inputs.

It’s essentially the most streetwear-coded approach to “sprezzatura” you’ll find today and what makes Stüssy’s Fall ‘24 lookbook even better is its authenticity.
Brand staples like the beach shell is mellowed out with a semi-translucent, green ripstop makeup, where the archival ‘Surfwalk’ graphic is applied to one of Stüssy’s signature, loose-knit crewnecks, given a washed blue finish that looks as if it’s already weathered an entire Summer down at Laguna beach.
One category that has flourished in recent Stüssy outputs is the brand’s shirting and with clear influence from frequent collaborator Our Legacy, we’re treated to perfectly oversized work shirts bearing Stüssy’s mainline ‘Work Gear’ badge.
The same hallmark usually appears on Stüssy’s cropped, hooded work jacket but for minimalistic purposes, this season requires that the badge be blacked out, set against a subtly checked, neppy variation of the ultimate layering staple.
