New Balance and Stone Island don’t have the deepest of history when it comes to collaboration. Thus far, the duo have only released a series of brightly coloured FuelCell RC running shoes, and are now switching sports to dominate the football pitch, with a kit and boot collection modelled by none other than England national Raheem Sterling.
The python print ensemble first made an appearance in October, when rapper Santan Dave and some pals had a five-a-side game, decked out in the black and green kit, and only now, are we being treated to a proper look at the pieces, including a matching pair of boots just in time for the World Cup.
The grandad-collared shirt features a digitised, all-over snakeskin print, with blacked out badges, complete with complimentary shorts. As part of the full box set, a lengthy pair of socks will be available, again featuring Stone Island and New Balance branding on each leg.
New Balance also revealed that Sterling will be wearing the Furon V7 football boots at England’s upcoming World Cup campaign, taking advantage of the technically sound composition that draws on Stone Island’s innovation in the material world and New Balance’s orthopaedic expertise.

Besides the performance intended gear, a pair of 574’s also made a cameo, depicting a classic greyscale palette with the Stone Island compass stitched on the tongue.

Priced at £265, the Stone Island x New Balance Boxed Kit Set will be available on November 21st from Stone Island’s website, with a second drop following on the 25th on newbalance.com.
