For Summer ‘22, Milanese fashion peddlers SlamJam have delved deep into Fila’s extensive archives, in an effort to produce a redefining of classic Italian sportswear, yielding a selection of garments that are just as techno, as they are technical.

Besides stocking some of the culture’s biggest names, SlamJam has previously masterminded an array of their own, successful design ventures - most notably ROA Hiking, an outdoor imprint from the creative wizards at the Italian retailer, whose approach boots and shoes have played an integral part in the recent rise of Gorpcore. SlamJam’s latest work with Fila would, without a doubt, suit the aforementioned hikers, as they have once again captured today's streetwear zeitgeist, solidified through the attachment of Fila - the godfathers of Italian sportswear.
The humble tracksuit is the staple of any modern wardrobe - whether you dress it up or down, a two-piece ensemble of piped nylon can make all men and women equal. This six-piece collection focuses on ultra-light nylon as the base for a series of colour blocked tracksuit options, offering two shades of grey that favour details over branding.
Flashes of red, paired with SlamJam’s anarchic insignia compliment the postmodernism that runs through the collection.
Accompanying the two-pieces, a long-sleeved polo shirt and duffle bag hit home the sporty muse of the collaboration, whose tennis influence will undoubtedly make you the flyest person on the court.
