Following the news that Skepta’s brand Mains would be making its grand return to the scene with an appearance at London Fashion Week 2023, a detailed look at Main’s first capsule collection since 2021 has now surfaced.

Even without a recent two year sabbatical, Mains is still very much in its infancy and when the brand was somewhat active from 2017 to 2021, capsules would go live sporadically containing tracksuits, tees and general wardrobe staples painted in monochromatic colour schemes with minimal branding, often designed to match any one of Skepta’s Nike Air Max collaborations.

If social media activity is anything to go by, it seems Mains is making a proper go of things this time around, first with a showing at London Fashion Week this Saturday, September 16th, ahead of an exclusive release at Dover Street Market the following day.

Although more will be revealed at the official event, the DSM-exclusive capsule consists of six items including a graphic tee, denim jacket and cap, a pair of throwback sunglasses and two accessories.

Arguably the most interesting piece in the collection, the denim jacket alludes to what’s yet to come from Mains with its raw appearance and contrast stitching. Details like the asymmetrical front pockets and air holes across the chest add a contemporary twist to the traditional wardrobe staple, with Mains’ “M” logo blending seamlessly into the white stitch work.

A similar design quota is used on the New Era-produced snapback - which emulates a classic pair of jeans through the waistband-esque detailing around the base.

The collection goes live on Sunday, September 17th - available at and physical locations.
