After a rock and roll campaign featuring The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea, Stüssy has revealed a final look at their upcoming collaboration with Dries Van Noten, ahead of the collection’s release later this week.

Hailing from Belgium, Dries Van Noten and his eponymous brand has built a career on modern tailoring. Drawing on his sartorial lineage, in recent years, the designer has explored the use of pattern and graphics in an effort to move with the times and go against the grain of traditional suiting.
The collaboration with Stüssy comes as somewhat of a surprise, but with the Californian street firm’s proclivity to work with European outlets such as Our Legacy or Tekla Fabrics, it makes sense Stüssy would want to expand their collaborative EU portfolio, and contrary to the aforementioned partnerships, the Dries collab goes heavy on the graphic front.
The assortment includes co- branded tie-dye tees, sweats, Cuban collar shirts, loose-fitting printed denim, and a rhinestone-encrusted blazer and trousers.
All of the above have been painted with graffiti-style insignias, from illuminati imagery to golden shrooms and variations on the classic Stüssy 8-ball. There’s even a military fishtail parka that has a psychedelic bong painted on the rear.

Besides trippy tops, an 80s inspired zoot suit makes an appearance, adding to the all round eclecticism of Dries van Noten’s guest outing with Stüssy.
