Brian Donnelly, commonly known by his moniker “Kaws”, is having quite the week.
<br/>
Not only has the the lauded street-art godfather unveiled a fire merch collaboration with Kid Cudi, but he’s also re-connecting with The North Face for a follow up to their maiden outerwear collection which sold out earlier this year.
While part 1 was a mishmash of colour spread over classic TNF staples, part 2 is more aligned with the classic black and white style of Kaws’ own work, and as ever, features his signature “X X” insignia alongside The North Face’s half dome logo.
Highlights from the collection include the Himalayan Down Parka, which is packed with 500 goose down and painted in a monochromatic fashion with an abstract, all-over print - the same design is present across the rest of the pieces in the collection.
More heavy outerwear icons appear in the form of Nuptse’s, Mountain Parkas and the iconic Denali Fleece, which are all adorned with the same tonal print, alongside slides, carry-alls, matching mittens and more.
