Puma links up with Butter Goods for a heavy collection that is 90s down to its core. A music studio sets the scene for the campaign, which is brimming with wide-cut tracksuits, caps and two low-top sneakers - paying homage to the colourful, often sportswear-inspired fits that your favourite Hip Hop or R&B artist would rock back in the 90s.
Starting off with the Slipstream Low, which uses a cork sole as the scaffolding for ‘buttery’ suede uppers. The ‘beef and broccoli’ colourway exudes reggae and dancehall vibes, with colours of the Jamaican flag spread over the tongue and upper fabrications. A white version is also available, with both featuring ‘BUTTER’ branding on their outer collars.
Puma’s Suede VTG also makes an appearance, available in two effortless colourways that would compliment any of the collection’s pieces with ease. Rough-haired suede sees flashes of gold foil atop a simple black sole, the silhouette is finished off with a bold, co-branded tongue patch.
Amongst the shellsuits and polos, an abstraction of squiggly lines and triangles hits home the 90s aesthetic - pair that with baggy tracksuit bottoms and fatigues, and you just might be mistaken for an extra from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Reasonably priced between $40 and $160, the full collection will be available April 23rd, from Puma and Butter Goods' online stores.
