Louis Vuitton has been subjected to some well-deserved buzz ever since Pharrell was appointed as Creative Director of menswear last year. Since then, the luxury staple has released $153k USD crocodile baseball jackets and $1 million USD duffle bags, before teasing a gilded take on Americana and western wear at its Fall Winter ‘24 showcase in January for Paris Fashion Week.

Besides an abundance of leather, big buckles and cowboy hats, Louis Vuitton FW 24 also shed light on a genre bending collaboration with Timberland and in tune with Pharrell’s outlook on true bespoke luxury, the iconic 6” boots are getting a very expensive makeover.
Louis Vuitton, along with various other luxury institutions, have long taken inspiration from the cult 6” boot for their own in-house exploits but this time, the nubuck steppers are undoubtedly, the real mccoy.
At least seven pairs of LV x Timberland boots were on display at Paris Fashion week and all stayed true to the timeless design, barring LV-branded insignias and hang tags. Standard tan Timbs with a Louis Vuitton logo slapped on them are already an exciting prospect - but not nearly as exciting as the €75k thousand monogram pair that earns its pricetag through calf leather uppers and 18k carat gold hardware that’s all wrapped up in a special edition box, limited to just 50 pairs worldwide.

The limited edition pair will likely only be reserved for the most loyal of LV customers, but expect the remaining pairs to see a wider release later this year.
