Showing out for Louis Vuitton’s Fall Winter 25 preview at Paris Fashion Week, Pharrell Williams reconnected with longtime partner Nigo to celebrate twenty years of peak fashion bromance, imbuing an overall sense of high-end wearability into streetwear-rooted mashups and even a new footwear style.

This marks the fourth Louis Vuitton collection presided by Pharrell Williams, who joined the brand in 2023 as the Creative Director for Menswear.

Tapping their shared wealth of experience and passion as tastemakers for popular fashion culture, the show was rife with exactly the kind of fare you’d expect to see worn by Pharrell or Nigo themselves.

The duo’s penchant for Americana was on full display with flared denim pants, multi-pocketed coverall coats and canvas work vests, joined by various instances of where denim is recontextualised into more formal attire.

There’s even a Louis Vuitton version of the iconic Coogi sweater - paired here alongside a pink work vest and loose trousers, with standout eyewear and big-buckle belts evidencing Pharrell’s emphasis on the importance of accessorisation.

Items like the leather baseball jersey and racer jackets showcased branding-heavy details often associated with the streetwear genre, where Pharrell and Nigo even went as far to incorporate their own likenesses on a select few pieces featured in the collection.

Looks utilising a longer coat or accessorising with one of the Damier print bags allowed for the more classical sensibilities of Louis Vuitton to shine.

The outerwear lineup did not disappoint, with monogram print featuring in addition to leopard fleece linings and fur collars on the above showstopper, joined by all manners of leather jacket varying from the ostentatious to understated.

The aforementioned Damier print played a key role in the event as a whole, as Louis Vuitton transformed the Cour Carrée du Louvre into a shimmering space reflecting Louis and Georges Vuitton's innovative design from 1888.

Pharrell’s interpretation of Damier combines the alternating squares with camouflage, this time adding to the digitised forms introduced in past collections to pay homage to one of Nigo’s most successful ventures that also paved the way for Pharrell’s early exploits in the fashion game.

First teased days prior, Pharrell introduced the "ButterSoft" sneaker in various leather colourways, showing clear inspiration from the Nike Cortez as a the central reference point, while calling back to vibrant palettes and material combos Pharrell made his own with the 2006 Reebok x ICECREAM Boardflip.

Louis Vuitton FW25 made Pharrell’s vision for the brand even clearer, where fashion serves as a vehicle for cultural and personal expression, merging the all-encompassing pillars of street fashion with luxury methods and cuts in a way that is both affable and aspirational.
