Since he broke onto the scene back in 2020, Junior Clint has cultivated his own loyal following of streetwear enthusiasts through his utilitarian kicks that value function just as much as form.
Before the Manchester born designer turned his eye to footwear, Clints Inc. originally started out by selling 1 of 1 bespoke garments. With a view to make quality shoes that would stand out from the crowd, Clint released his first collection of sneakers, titled “TRL Footprints”, which referenced the outdoor-ready construction of the model.
Now working with streetwear OGs Patta, Clint brings his signature, practical style to a new silhouette - dubbed the "Stepper" - which dons a pat(ta)riotic, 'Dutch orange' canvas, atop a chunky black sole - flashes of turquoise compliment the shoe, with Patta branding seen throughout.
The rubber midsole and canvas uppers have been chosen for a reason, the sneaker harks back to the y2k era of skating bulky shoes that can be beat mercilessly. There is also a graphic t-shirt releasing alongside the shoes.
The Patta x Clints Stepper will be exclusively available from Patta London on Friday, March 18th as well as at the Clints pop-up store in Manchester and on clints.co as a raffle.
