Amsterdam-based streetwear label Patta has officially confirmed its upcoming collaboration with New Balance. Following early retail leaks, Patta has announced the existence of not one, but two 991v2’s bearing deep colour schemes with lime green accents.
The burgundy “Pickled Beet” colourway covered below will be releasing globally via select retailers, while the previously unseen teal ”Sea Moss“ pair drops exclusively at Patta.

Both designs favour nubuck uppers with grain leather tabs at the ankle, with uniformity across the respective pairs thanks to neon laces and midsole detailing.

The Patta x New Balance 991v2 collaboration will be available starting December 1st at 13:00 CET on patta.nl and Patta locations in Amsterdam, London, and Milan.

New Balance is wasting no time in pushing its latest 991v2 Made in the UK silhouette, only debuting the model last month via a Stone Island collaboration, which in a rare occurrence, preceded the base grey general release.

The 991v2 is a testament to the original model’s staying power as New Balance’s flagship UK model, staying in regular rotation for the last 20 years with minimal collab activity. As New Balance heads towards a more streamlined design language, the 991v2 perfectly melds OG details with a rounder, more contemporary shape that is elevated by the FuelCell midsole, which imbues the 991v2 with a higher level of comfort.
Considering New Balance collectors, football hooligans and the wider streetwear demographic ate up the previous Stone Island collaboration with haste, New Balance is already gearing up for another high profile partnership with Patta.
Thanks to early retail images from OTH Boutique, Patta has chosen an aubergine hue for the nubuck uppers and leather sections, while reviving the neon highlights from its previous 990v3 along the midsole, complemented by an intricate mesh base.

Patta branding lands on the heel tab and tongue.

An official announcement on the release is imminent.
