Ralph Lauren, Arc’teryx, Avirex, Gucci and Mercedes are just a few standout head’s currently sat in Palace’s trophy room and now leaving no doubt as to its proclivity in the collaboration world, the London born, globally-bred skate firm is picking up the tools for a collection with Carhartt WIP.
Built in the ultra top secret Palace x Carhartt WIP factory, the core collection is supported by a short film written and directed by Stuart Hammond of the Palace Wayward Boys Club, starring team affiliates Jonah West & Stan Brock.

In Palace’s own words, the campaign gives a deep insight into the ‘real work’ that goes into making hardwearing clothes to do ‘real work’ in.
Contrary to typical Palace collaborations, the clothing on offer is built around the foundations of solid workwear, with staple palettes and minimal branding. Although the tees feature an enlarged dual logo across the back, the tonal design choice allows Palace to inject some of its eccentric flavour while honouring the conservative heritage associated with Carhartt.
Heavy workwear principals include a pair of warm brown overalls and three variations of Carhartt’s ubiquitous double knee trousers. Bone pinstripe and green camo are bold nods to traditional patterns that have been long been ingrained within Carhartt’s history in Americana and are used on overshirts & jackets bearing a stitched insignia on the rear.
Hoodies and beanies make up the rest of the collection, simply featuring the orange Carhartt wave that in light of the collaboration, is now underscored by an italic Palace typeface.

The collection will be available this Friday from Palace’s webstore and physical locations worldwide.
