Off the back of a stacked Autumn season which included a legendary Vivienne Westwood link-up, London skate dons Palace give us a preview of the 2000s nostalgia extravaganza in store for its Autumn 2024 collection, set to launch from Friday 4th October.

Shot by Dominic Marley, Palace’s latest lookbook shows off a mix of attention grabbing standouts and functional, everyday bits perfect for the transition to Winter.

With a focus on easy-going outerwear, Palace always keep a nostalgic eye to the 90s & 2000s with digital and real tree camo patterns, logo heavy sportswear inspired pieces, shaggy faux fur, patchwork panelling and more all in the mix.

Visual standouts include an all over print Puffa jacket featuring the 19th century oil painting “The Great Day of His Wrath" by John Martin, previously used by Palace on a set of graphic skate decks as part of a collaboration with the Tate Britain gallery.

Always partial to an animal mascot, this time it is the turn of the beautifully weird axolotl sea critter who receives a full hockey jersey feature.

Outerwear is always a focus heading into the colder months and this remains the case for this season with heavy duty Avirex leather panelled jackets, Polartec fleece zip hoods, Pertex inforced puffers plus an Autumnal twist on the classic canvas work jacket with embroidered cabin scene on the back.

Graphic treats include a football top inspired by pachinko arcade gaming, a Palace x Rapha cycling knit cardigan and mutliple pieces paying homage to the iconic mask imagery of musical Phantom of the Opera, on a knit crewneck sweater, denim trousers and cap.

A full preview of the Palace Winter 24 collection is due next week, with the first release of the season available Friday, 4th October at 11:00am GMT, available via the brand’s webstore and physical locations.
