As Palace gear up to drop the latest of their Summer bits, the London skate dons have teased a third collaboration with French designer and visual artist Jean Charles de Castelbajac, set to release this Friday 27th June.
Castelbajac is most associated with his brightly coloured and slightly surreal collage technique, and this style is evident across the visual language of this Palace collection.

With Palace's own penchant for bold and irreverent graphics, the synergy works across pieces including a wool varsity jacket, hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts, knitwear and denim co-ords.
Speaking of his design style and inspiration for this collection with Palace, Castelbajac said:
</br>
"I have been practicing [collage] art for a few years, and it has freed my work from the lines of drawing.

In this third collection for Palace, I wanted no frontier between art, fashion, style and movement. Every element is a moving art piece, a collectible, a special one for universal graphic heroes. I mixed photos, colours, words, and shapes. I am so proud of this achievement, the quality of the craftsmanship is unmatched.”
The Palace brand lettering is dismantled and rebuilt through colourful felt appliqué, alongside surreal arrangements of shapes and checkerboard patterns to create a wearable and very distinctly Jean Charles de Castelbajac look.
Standout pieces from the collection include the appliqué wool varsity jacket featuring deconstructed Palace branding on the front and a floral motif on the back, as well as distinct knit sweaters sporting a large checkerboard pattern on one half and Palace lettering and abstract shapes on the other.
A similar treatment is applied to a workwear-inspired denim jacket and wide leg trousers in white or black.
The collection is completed with hoodies and long sleeve tees in the same style plus t-shirts featuring a surreal, reworked version of the brand's Tri Ferg logo.
The Palace JCC+ collection releases online via Palace webstores and at Palace global flagship stores + DSM London, LA, Tokyo and Ginza from Friday 27th June.
