Omega x Swatch Announce Moonswatch “Mission on Earth” Collection
July 8, 2024
In the next chapter of its ongoing Moonswatch series, Omega x Swatch has unveiled three new iterations of its coveted Bioceramic chronograph, this time opting for sporty colour schemes that are inspired by some of Earth’s most mesmerising natural phenomenons.

After already covering 11 of the planetary bodies in our solar system, Omega x Swatch are switching things up for the latest addition to their collaborative family with a new release that hones in on our very own planet Earth, yielding “Lava”, “Polar Lights” and “Desert” inspired pieces.
Starting with the most intricately detailed of the three, the “Polar Lights” option features a mint green case and hands that contrast against the navy bezel and dial base. Aurora borealis is honoured a step further by the inclusion of specks of silver that aim to mimic a starry night’s sky.
The “Lava” red and sandy-coloured “Desert” options are rather self-explanatory in terms of palette, although seasoned collectors will appreciate features such as the orange seconds hand used as a homage to the 1968 Omega Speedmaster “Ultra man”, where the “Desert” Moonswatch‘s subdials reference versions 2 & 3 of the Speedmaster “Alaska projects”.

Retailing at $300 USD each, the Omega x Swatch Mission on Earth collection will be available at select Swatch stores on Saturday, June 15th.
