Since James Bond hit the silver screen in 1962, few lucky watchmakers have been given the opportunity to outfit her Majesty’s top secret agent in the finest of horological advancements.

Rolex, Breitling and even Seiko have placed their pieces on the wrists of various 007’s, with the most loyal being Swiss institute Omega, who have had close ties to the franchise since 1995, releasing a series of special-edition watches that besides being worn on-screen, have occasionally seen public release.

The latest output from the dual mastermind of Omega and Bond’s handlers is two rather different Seamaster 300’s that celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ian Felming’s iconic character.

The more pedestrian of the two evokes the stylings of the model Pierce Brosnan wore to launch the relationship between the franchise and Omega, in the 1995 film Goldeneye. The blue bezel and textured dial pop against the stainless steel casing and mesh bracelet, the latter of which is modelled after the same one Daniel Craig used in the most recent Bond flick No Time to Die.

The second special-edition Seamaster 300 looks less field tested and more suited to whomever it is trying to kill Bond and 'blow up the moon' next, boasting an iced-out green/ yellow gradient bezel atop the white gold case and bracelet, complete with a tonal, hand-finished camo dial.

Both models feature a see-through caseback, depicting the iconic opening “gun barrel” scene that plays at the start of every Bond film, alongside comlimentary cuff-links and bungee cord bracelets
