Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” release with Nike took the fashion world by storm, the sneaker collection set a precedent for all future collaborations to require a certain level of authenticity and innovation within their design.

Virgil’s untimely death left friends and fans alike in a state of grief and ponderment at the possibility we may never see more of his distinctive footwear again. Four months of tentative speculation have led us to this point, Nike have revealed the next silhouette to come from the brilliant mind of Abloh, this time realised through two Blazer Lows.
In a statement, Nike said “The release comes in accordance with Abloh’s wishes, and in partnership with his wife, Shannon Abloh.”
If you removed the hangtag and “OFF WHITE” branding from the shoe, they would still be distinctively recognisable as an Abloh “SHOE”. The inclusion of the Terra Humara 2 sole wedge carries on Abloh’s ethos that performance and design go hand-in-hand, furthermore, the shoe boasts hole-punched detailing across the leather uppers, sat behind fluorescent cord over-lacing.
Off White announced via Instagram that "this is the first of many collaborations developed by Virgil Abloh for Nike due to release this year."
