Off the back of last month’s surprisingly popular Popeye collab, Noah have teased a look at their upcoming capsule with Baracuta, marking their second partnership with the British heritage brand.

It’s hard to argue that Baracuta doesn't have a monopoly on the harrington jacket, it’s an original British classic that has been much copied but never bettered, and rather than trying to emulate it themselves, Noah have gone straight to the mancunian source. For nearly 100 years, the style has not once wavered from its prototypical design - officially titled the ‘G9 Harrington’, its intended purpose was to give golfers more freedom of movement on their swing, whilst offering sufficient shielding from the rainy golf courses of Manchester City.
You simply cannot fault the beautiful simplicity of the G9 Harrington - it’s the icon’s icon - spanning both real life and fiction, pop-culture legends like James Bond and Steve Mcqueen have famously donned the jacket, as well as it being adopted by the moped-riding mods of the 60s and 70s, worn whenever they’d show up to an old-timey game of fisticuffs against their rival rockers.

Noah’s take on the jacket sees a neo-retro madras pattern on the outside, with a plainer, yet opulent navy lining - providing a soft touch for the warmer months ahead. Alongside the jacket, and in keeping with its golf roots, a matching bucket hat and pair of shorts will be available - completed with a clean white polo shirt.
