Nike and Patta are reuniting for the first time in 2024 to harmonise street wearability with technical performance, centring their latest venture around a mishmash Huarache model that borrows features from another Nike running icon.

The capsule falls under Patta’s very own running club - a community founded by Patta cofounder Edson Sabajo that aims to promote “the discovery of new places, while forging new connections and embracing freedom”.
Of course there are plenty of technically-focused pieces available, such as the baggy warm-up tracksuits that come in full and quarter zip variations, plus coordinating mid-layers, shorts, running tights and performance tees that all display reflective co-branding.
Patta and Nike have also concocted a varsity bomber jacket that looks ideal for post-run comfort, resulting in a black-bodied, white-sleeved jacket that’s plied with collegiate chenille badges, topped off with Patta’s panther mascot spread across the back.
For the footwear, Patta has delved into Nike’s vast archives and emerged with 1993’s “Plus” variant of the Air Huarache, which boasts over-foot webbing and a buckle fastening system for ultimate stability while running.

Akin to Patta’s previous hybridisation of the Air Max 90 & 95, its latest collaborative effort sees the Air Huarache Plus attached to the sole of Nike’s new generation Pegasus runner, which is imbued with Zoom air technology that is best suited for long distance excursions.

The Nike x Patta Air Huarache Plus will be available in black, yellow and white and once again, features Patta’s panther badge on the tongue.

Patta’s latest work with Nike will be available on Patta.com April 26th, with a global release via SNKRS arriving on May 2nd.
