Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus hit the ground running with his last Nike collab. One of few designers to create his own model with the Swoosh, Jacquemus’ first big time collaboration introduced the Air Humara LX and was a smash hit with high fashion and gorp-heads alike.
Since the first time was so nice, it’s only right that Jacquemus does it twice, as the next work to come from his partnership with Nike has just been unveiled, showing yet another reworking of classic Swoosh design.
Dubbed the “J Force 1”, the shoe takes a base Air Force 1 and implements features borrowed from the Nike ACG Terra, an archival design from the early 2000’s that Jacquemus has noted as “his favourite shoe ever from Nike”.
The traditional thick basketball sole has been replaced with trail-first woven technology, also swapping the iconic tonal branding for a silver mini-Swoosh on the medial panel - a feature that is quickly becoming a calling card of all Nike x Jacquemus outputs.

Both parties’ logos are debossed on the heel, with “JF1” lace charms coming as standard.

The Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 will release in both black and white colourways on June 13th at Jacquemus.com.
