After a planned 4/20 release was delayed due to the unfortunate timing of a coughing strawberry graphic amid a global pandemic, official photos have emerged of the Nike SB "Strawberry Cough" hinting that we may see a formal release yet.
Designed by artist Todd Bratrud who designed the original Skunk and White Widow dunks, the shoe was originally slated to release in celebration of international stoner holiday "420" as part of the ongoing series of themed Dunk styles. Unfortunately, the release was delayed indefinitely due to concerns around the potential insensitivity of the graphic and only the partner "Reverse Skunk" shoe dropped in very limited quantities instead.
Luckily for fans of the strain.....sorry, style of shoe, the appearance of the official pictures suggests that the Strawberry version may yet see a general release, rumoured to be via SNKRS and selected SB stockists in the coming months.
