Little over two months after Nike partnered with Tinker Hatfield and the Oregon Ducks on a charitable NFT collection, the sportswear giant has announced their next metaversal project, alongside their newest acquisition RTFKT (pronounced artefact) - a startup company who made waves in the non-fungible game through a sellout NFT sneaker collection, which netted roughly $3.1 million in revenue in March 2021.

Back in February, Nike and RTFKT debuted their own collaborative NFT series, titled MNLTH, and ever-since, owners of the NFTs have been completing various “quests” in a pursuit to find out what's inside the MNLTH box, kind of like a digital Se7en - minus all the homicide and Kevin Spacey.
MNLTH owners have finally been granted a look inside said mystical box, and to everyone’s surprise, a digital Dunk Low was the long-awaited prize. Designed with futuristic intent, the RTFKT x Nike Dunk “Genesis” aims to transport users to the year 2052 through innovative “skin changing” methods, for a full breakdown of what the NFT entails, check out this instagram clip from RTFKT.

Stay tuned for more information, as Nike and RTFKT could likely be dropping another NFT collection very soon.
