New Balance and thisisneverthat Launch Running Footwear and Apparel Capsule Collection

As New Balance's collaborative roster continues to expand, the Boston-based sportswear giant has tapped on Korean label thisisneverthat for a running-inspired footwear and apparel capsule collection. The duo previously teamed up at the start of the year, giving the M997 and 860 V2 silhouettes a modern adjustment.

For their most recent union, New Balance and thisisneverthat deliver summer-ready renditions of the 1906R and 2002R along with complementary apparel options. The former pair arrives jagged, featuring discolored patches throughout the upper that convey a dated aesthetic. Silver trimmings wrap around its design, finished with a yellowed sole unit. The 2002R has been dressed in a crisp palette of gray and navy, as mesh toe boxes increase breathability, and cracked leather collars and tongues add a rugged finish.

In the apparel department, the collaboration supplies a variety of running-inspired garments, including coach jackets, shorts, hoodies, t-shirts and hats stamped with “The 2022 Downtown Run” markings and co-branded decor.
