While Pharrell Williams flies high at Louis Vuitton, two brands that hold a special place in the artist’s heart are taking up something of a side quest, in the Billionaire Boys Club x Moncler collaboration.

While Billionaire Boys Club was founded by Pharrell himself in 2005, Moncler has worked with the now Creative Director at Louis Vuitton multiple times in the past, yielding some of the more collectible Moncler pieces to grace its archives.

The latest collection takes the strongest points from each firm to create the pinnacle of business class tier streetwear, amalgamating the brash graphical nature of the BBC with the tried and tested Moncler puffers and winter wear.

Falling under the Fall/ Winter ‘23 season, the collection is comprised of truly winterised articles.

As expected, a graphic tee and hoodie hit the usual collaboration quota but the real bread and butter of Moncler is explored with the short down jacket that comes in a luxury black, finished with tonal, all-over diamond and dollar sign motifs courtesy of BBC, red zips and a khaki-coloured interior.

To top things off, the jacket can be converted to gilet for nights when a young BBC fiend needs to show out whilst keeping the pit leakage to a minimum.

The same all-over design translates onto a leather cap and white wool beanie, where the mixture of C.R.E.A.M takes an enlarged form, covered by a plain cuff that features a Moncler x BBC badge.

The same badge appears on the majority of the collection and in its most brazen format on the equally brazen varsity jacket. The aforementioned patch takes up the left chest, with Billionaire Boys Club’s boujie script falling across the back. This jacket also features some of Moncler’s signature down-filling, complete with leather sleeves to sign off the luxury aesthetic.

The final touch of collaborative flair finds itself on a cross-body bag and pair of Trailgrip Apres Boots, where the latter’s heavy duty treads sets the foundation for quilted Gore-Tex uppers painted with a minty, red, teal and blue camo pattern and olive branding notes.

The full Moncler x Billionaire Boys Club collection is available now from Moncler’s USA website, with a later release scheduled for August 15th from Billionaire Boys Club.
