Metal Gear Solid + Maison Margiela Collabs Rumoured for Supreme SS24
Metal Gear Solid + Maison Margiela Collabs Rumoured for Supreme SS24
February 9, 2024
Supreme is still yet to tease any releases for its upcoming Spring/ Summer ‘24 campaign and already, the rumour mill is functioning at full force as not one, but two potentially show-stopping collaborations are on the horizon.
The first is a parntership between Supreme and Metal Gear Solid - the cult espionage video game series created in 1998 by visionary director/ designer Hideo Kojima that will see a brand new entry in the series later this year. Supreme is no stranger to honouring cult pieces of media and last tipped its hat to the gaming world with Yohji Yamamoto back in 2022 when the duo worked on a Tekken-inspired capsule.

Graphic tees and hoodies come as standard with the majority of Supreme partnerships, but the potential of a Metal Gear Solid-centred collection opens up avenues for Box Logo plastering on accessories such as the eyepatch worn by main character Solid Snake or his supply of cardboard boxes used as deployable cover when in the field.
Rumours also indicate that Supreme will be teaming up with high fashion imprint Maison Margiela as part of its Spring Summer ‘24 outing. The capsule will reportedly include a Box Logo sweatshirt and tee collection, with potential for Supreme to tackle Margiela’s GAT trainers or even concoct their own special Replica fragrance.

Who knows, maybe the iconic Box Logo will take residence on a pair of split-toe Tabi shoes…

All will be revealed when Supreme commences its Spring Summer ‘24 season sometime in the coming weeks.
