Although Louis Vuitton is set to experience a shift in direction when Pharrell Williams fulfils his role of Creative Director later this Summer, one notion that will never fade from the luxe aura of LV is the peddling of uber-expensive goods that most can only dream of owning - exhibited once again in the latest delivery from the Art of Living series.
The Art of Living campaign represents the most eccentric values of Louis Vuitton, sporadically dropping ridiculously expensive lifestyle goods that range from skipping ropes to skateboards, golf sets to garden furnishings, even offering an atelier-quality LV-branded hammock - because why the f*** not?
The latest outing sees the Art of Living travelling roadshow set up camp in Palm Springs, California to display the collection of esoterica, which fits in perfectly with the mid-century architecture of the property featured in the campaign.
Amongst variations of Monogrammed Trunks, Tennis Rackets, crockery collections and expertly crafted furniture, items like the Golf Set, Ping Pong table and “Party Trunk” (?) are so unique that Louis Vuitton haven’t even feigned to front that people are just ordering such extravagance online - leaving those and many other pieces without price tags, indicating that cost shouldn’t be a factor if you’re in the market for real Louis Vuitton living.
