Amongst the Jordan brand’s army of collaborators, few stand out like Union.

Considered as one of the founding fathers of streetwear retail, Union has a deep wealth of knowledge to draw on for their plentiful collaborations, which consistently result in sought after Swoosh-bound kicks that always strike a chord with collectors.
Besides Jordan 4’s, 2’s and Dunk Lows, the most popular fruit to be harvested from the Nike x Union tree is the initial, collaborative Jordan 1 High, which even today fetches well over $1k USD on resale sites.

Considering the duo’s previous ‘braided’ AJ1 didn’t reach the same heights of unobtainability as the protoypical two-tone releases, it appears Union x Jordan is going back to their roots, by fusing two of the Jordan 1’s most iconic colourways into one.
The upcoming iteration, which comes as a leaked image courtesy of @sharkicks1, shows a red/ white/ black ‘Chicago’ base contrasted against a grey/ black ‘Shadow’ collar. The exposed stitching from the initial release remains, finished with a signature yellow “Union” tag and exposed foam tongue.

The collaboration is rumoured to drop this coming February.
