The "Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga" project looks like it could make a reality of Ye's long-stated goal of making quality fashion widely available at accessible price points, telling Vogue magazine:

“It is a vision come true to work with Gap and Demna, the creative director of Balenciaga, to make incredible product available to everyone at all times."
Balenciaga Creative Director Demna also spoke of the alignment between all three brands, expressing that he admires the "utilitarianism and the accessibility" of Gap designs which are things he likes to incorporate into his own "creative language" when designing higher end products.

"This project allowed me to join forces [with Ye] to create utilitarian fashion for all.”

Ye has had a close relationship with Balenciaga creative director Demna for some time and famously signed a 10-year deal with casualwear classic brand Gap in 2020.
The rapper and designer has spoken of working for the brand as a teen and later stated he'd like to be "the Steve Jobs of the Gap".

The first installment of the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga project is currently set to release in June 2022, with a second later in the year.
